Eight new destinations provided by Wizz Air in 2009

The low-cost operator will launch flights towards eight new destinations and will increase the frequency of flights for the routes it presently operates, Natasha Kazmer, Communications Manager of the company declared. At the beginning of May, Wizz Air will launch a flight on the itinerary Cluj-Napoca – Venice (Treviso). At the beginning of May, Wizz Air will launch flights to Madrid and Bologna, from the Airport of Cluj-Napoca. In the same year, the low-cost operator will launch a flight on the itinerary Timisoara – Venice (Treviso), as well as flights to Milan (Bergamo), Rome (Fiumicino), Barcelona, Paris (Beauvais) and Valencia, flights to be launched in February.

The prices of the tickets will start at RON 89 per flight. Starting in 2009, the company also intends to increase the frequency of the flights already operated on the airports of Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca. Until the end of this year, Wizz Air is due to launch two more flights: Cluj-Napoca – Paris and Timisoara – Dortmund, both of them on December 18, as well as a flight on the itinerary Timisoara – London, on October 27.
